With Kaufland's support, we have been able to give our ROTAS children an unforgettable summer, filled with excursions and educational and fun activities at the same time. The children had 4 excursions during which they learned about the history of Romania and not only during the visits to the established museums in Bucharest, but they also enjoyed the botanical garden, admiring various plant species and the zoo, identifying numerous animal species, to our astonishment.

On August 4, children went on a trip to the National Natural History Museum, Grigore Antipa. For the first time in this museum, the little ones, were amazed by the many exhibits, the visit to the museum being accompanied by a continuous "wooow". The little ones have admired the world's fauna with an impressive number of representative species for each region, the origins and evolution of life, the world of insects, and the evolution of the human species. The cave arranged in the museum along with the stalactites, the stalagmites, the skeletons of the bears and the cave drawings were vrey admired, but the peak of astonishment has been reached in front of the Dinoterium, the skeleton of a giant mammal that lived two million years ago. The kids told us that they felt like they had entered another world and that they loved the huge cave and mammal skeletons of millions of years ago.

On August 10 the children went to the Cotroceni National Museum, which impressed them with the sumptuous architecture and the rich history of the exhibits. In a fairytale silence and  stories about the princes, princesses, kings and queens who lived in the palace rooms, the children visited rooms such as the Flower Salon, the Ferdinand King's Library, the Cerchez Salon or the Hunting Salon. In the minibus the children told us they would like to live in "such a big house". The second stop of the trip was at the Botanical Garden, where many species of trees and plants could be admired. Walking through the roses of various colors, the lake with ducks and, of course, the greenery with lush flowers and palm trees have made us believe for a moment that we were in the tropical forest.

On August 18, children from the Association for Evolution - ROTAS had an unforgettable trip to the Baneasa Zoological Garden and to the film. Tigers measuring 2 meters, weighing about 300 pounds, majestic lions and various monkey species have stirred up admiration. The giant snakes were not overlooked, their killer length and abilities being a cause for astonishment. At the cinema, children have discovered, through the amusing animation "Emoji the movie Smiley Adventure," the world of emoticons so used in the written messages, but also the message behind the action: it is important to be yourself.

The fourth trip, organized with the support of Kaufland Romania, took the steps of the children from the Association for Evolution-ROTAS to the Theodor Pallady Museum, also known as the Melik House, one of the oldest in Bucharest, being built in 1760 in the traditional Romanian style. The little ones made an incursion into the 18th century aristocrats world, admiring the pieces of furniture - real artwork, tapestries, sculptures, paintings by Theodor Pallady painter, Spanish painters, English, Dutch, French, etc. All exhibits have been part of the personal collections of families who have lived in Melik House over the years. The resistance pieces were the Asian sculptures placed in massive windows: statuettes of various sizes and delicate tea sets, as well as the paintings containing the unusual details.

For these trips marked by the impatience of the children and their bright smiles at discovering so much information, we thank Kaufland, who has facilitated these unforgettable experiences for little children of the ROTAS Evolution Association.
