In the sixth edition of this project are enrolled 39 school children and 16 kindergarten children. We continue to make efforts to ensure that all these children do not drop out of school, especially in the current social context caused by COVID-19.

As part of the fifth edition of our project "In the fall I will go to school!" we set out to continue to support 80 children to go to school, respectively kindergarten in the 2019-2020 school year. For a child to go to kindergarten 4000 lei per year is required (includes the payment of kindergarten 300 lei / month), and for a school child 8234 lei are required per year. Through the payment of the related expenses and the socio-recreational activities carried out in the Rotas day center, we aim to encourage the children to go to school and kindergarten, thus reducing the school dropout in the Tunari area, Jud Ilfov.

At the 4th edition (school year 2018-2019), the project In the fall I will go to school!, aims to support 80 children this year to go to kindergarten / school / high school, by paying the necessary expenses and by continuing the activities at the day center Rotas (help with homework and recreational activities).

The minimum spending for a child to go to school and help with lessons is about 4050 lei per year including meals / 2 pairs of shoes / requisites / special notebooks / books.

◦ 16 children enrolled or maintained at the ROTAS school (papers, mediation with school), of which 13 benefit, besides clothes, hygiene products, and support lessons at the ROTAS center
◦26 children maintained at school benefited from the support of ROTAS specialists in the Social Assistance Center - Dimieni.

1st edition school year 2015-2016:
-3 children enrolled in kindergarten and 6 children supported to attend school, 3 of whom attended the center daily for help with lessons. The experience of this year has taught us that it is very difficult for a child who did not go to kindergarten to pass the first grade, especially if he did not go to the preparatory group, and at home parents can not help him with lessons. Essential to achieving a qualitative result in time for our actions is to ensure early entry into the education system.

We want to do more and for more children and we need your help which may consist of:

  • money in cash and by bank transfer - which will be used exclusively to pay for kindergarten and extracurricular activities
  • useful items for children and their families: clothes, shoes, household items, small furniture, personal hygiene products, cleaning products, toys, etc. - to this end call us at phone: 0040723287798.
  • hours spent with children to help them with homework, to teach them poetry, read them a story, to go with them to the park - basically to participate in activities as a volunteer ROTAS.

Thank you for your time spent reading about this project!
